It Tastes Like Space!

So, my best friend and I are about 15 episodes into Kamen Rider Fourze. The easiest way I can describe this show is “The Breakfast Club: Friendship is Magic”.

^As you can probably can guess, this is high school drama. (I like this genre way more than I would expect myself to). Its also space themed; as a matter of fact the Kamen Rider Club’s hangout is on the moon. The main character’s goal in life is to befriend every single person at the school he just transferred to, which leads him becoming a kamen rider.

I think part of the reason I’m enjoying this show so much is its reminding me of Hell Girl.

Mainly because both series involve people (mostly high schoolers) going through extremes to solve their problems, such as the girl you like rejecting you or wanting to be the most popular girl in school, regardless of what the consequences will be.

I’m really enjoying this Kamen Rider series, it has not replaced Kamen Rider W (double) as my favorite though.

On a side note I watched Kamen Rider W: Forever A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate. It takes place toward the end of the series and fills in a few gaps. It is also really awesome to see W’s abilities manifested as dopants (the monsters for this series).

I’m rambeling again so that’s it for now, but if you like high school dramas with a bit of scifi added in I recommend looking into this series.

I hope everyone has a good weekend.
