With International Table Top Day coming up next Saturday, our group dusted off some games we haven’t played in a while.
This is my character and car set up from when we played Formula D (I will only play if i get to be the cat girl :p). Its a racing game, each gear is a different die and you take damage from various things such as getting too close to other cars or not stopping at certain points on the track. If you want to see a good play through of this game I recommend watching:
Also, someone donated a bunch of Magic the Gathering cards to our group so we could play at our event next week.
^Sooooo my hubby and I suddenly have a bunch of Magic cards. I’ve never played before, but I’m being told that my idea of a deck of cats and vampires might work. Well, I finally have a two player game for when the hubby and I are bored. I makes me really wish my bestie lived closer, he’d love this. If you want to see what kind of weirdo is my BFF his blog is here:
Anyway, back to the main point of my ramblings:
Just a friendly reminder that International Tabletop Day is this upcoming Saturday. Is anyone else doing anything with their game group/ friends?
Do you ever do some cleaning up around your room and find things you don’t remember getting? That happened to me today after work. I found a bag full of various colored stockings (including ones for the Red Power Ranger outfit I want to do), black lipstick, a couple of tank tops (including the one in the pic), and various other odds and ends.
Please tell me I’m not the only one that looses brand new things, or am I just that absent minded.
So, I’m not big on pre-ordering video games, there have been a few exceptions such as Injustice: Gods Among Us and most recently:
I’ve been excited about this game for a while, especially after the three episode advertisement they did for it on the last season of South Park. I’m a bit slow at playing games but after having to fix a glitch with the release day patch, I’ve gotten a good ways into it.
Its a turn based role-playing game, and you’re playing as the new kid in town (name him what you want, but you’re getting called Douchebag). You have a choice of 4 classes fighter, mage, thief, and Jew (I’m playing as a fighter). So, you’re going to to encounter/battle things such as characters from the show, Nazi zombies, pedophiles, dire animals (like regular animals only dire), aliens, and various other things.
You get to travel around with one of the main kids from the show, my personal favorite is Princess Kenny:
I’ll update yall once I’ve beat it, but I’m really enjoying it so far. It has so many references to all the various seasons of South Park, its kind of fun picking them all out. I recommend giving it a shot, but do keep in mind it is South Park, so its rude, crude, naughty, and very non PC. Just like the show:
So this is me mailing out my postcards for a postcard swap with the International Geek Girls Pen Pals Club (they wanted us to take a pic of us mailing them out.)
But, mostly I’m excited that you can tell that our snow is finally melting and I was able to go outside with out my parka on. ^-^
How’s yall’s weather?
I have a bunch of mesh tubing for no apparent reason, so random craft project of the week: cyber bows!
Came across this today, thought I’d share the laugh.
I love Netflix so much right now. My best friend and I have been watching a bunch of shows from our childhood lately. Mostly Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (If my recent cosplay didn’t make that obvious) and Pokemon Indigo League. Both were shows my mom didn’t like me watching as a kid so I didn’t get to watch them in sequence when they originally aired and some of the episodes are completely new to me. ^-^
